FLIGHT COORDINATOR/INTERNATIONAL TRIP SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Davinci Jets LLC, a Charter Aircraft and Management company located at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, is looking for a full-time Flight Coordinator. This position includes the responsibility of scheduling international flights, as well as all 91 and 135 trips, and handling all requests from the clients as well as the needs of the crew and aircraft. These include, but are not limited to, transportation, hotel, catering, hangar space, and fuel. This individual will prepare GENDECS, e-APIS filings, other entry/exit reports, obtain overflight, landing permits, and PPRs as required. They will create, run, and file flight plans and weather packages, and coordinate outbound and inbound flights according to U.S. Customs regulations. As such, a strong operational comprehension of global flight support is required. This position requires the highest level of customer service and attention to detail while working in a team-driven environment.

 

We are looking for an individual with exceptional customer service skills, who is energetic with strong problem-solving abilities, that can handle a fast-paced environment. This person must be able to handle the constant change that the aviation world affords people. Accuracy is imperative as well as a high level of work ethic. The ability to handle confidential information and maintain that confidentiality regarding the company and its clients is a must. The right candidate must also be available for after hours and weekends on call. The on call and holiday schedule is rotated between members of the team. G-VII - G500 CREW CHIEF

 

The G-VII – G500 Crew Chief is responsible for maintaining situational awareness of the operations taking place across our system. Communication and teamwork are key requirements and essential in ensuring a smooth operation across all teams within the company and extending it out to our crews. They are expected to take the initiative to aid in recovery, changes, and transitions of crew and aircraft and maximization of revenue opportunities and aircraft availability.
 

Responsible To: Director of Maintenance
 

Supervisors: Outside Maintenance Providers

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

To safely manage scheduled, un-scheduled, and AOG maintenance requirements of the assigned aircraft and communicate with internal and external customers all maintenance related events and outcomes.

  • Safely managing daily maintenance requirements of the assigned aircraft in a timely manner with consistent application of Company policy and procedures.

  • Responsible for coordinating w/ Maintenance Control, Dispatch/Scheduling, Charter Sales, Outside Maintenance providers, FBOs and Flight crews on maintenance events.

  • Must convey a high level of technical support to flight crews and Outside Maintenance providers.

  • Responsible for applying and managing Minimum Equipment List (MEL).

  • Responsible for building, scheduling, and releasing Maintenance work orders.

  • Responsible for scheduling cleaning requests.

  • Ensuring accurate and timely information is conveyed with Computerized Maintenance programs.

  • Ensuring accurate and timely information is conveyed to operations and sales for AOG and delayed aircraft.

  • Responsible for oversight and management during Maintenance events.

  • Designated by the Director of Maintenance Responsible for Airworthiness Releases.

  • Ensures Maintenance requirements are monitored and completed in a timely manner, never to exceed governing time limitations.

  • Must work harmoniously w/ Director of Maintenance, Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, Pilots, Outside Maintenance providers, and teammates, as well outside OEMs and auditors.

  • Responsible for providing shift turnovers and reports of sufficient detail to ensure open issues receive appropriate attention and follow through.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must have A&P certificate.

  • Minimum 3 years aircraft maintenance supervisor, crew chief, avionics lead or equivalent.

  • Part 135 experience highly desired.

  • At least 5 years corporate aircraft or regional airline maintenance experience. Specific experience/schooling on Gulfstream G-VII-G500/G600 highly desirable.
     

Authority:

  • Coordinate and Schedule maintenance events as required for operational needs.

  • Release Aircraft after completion of maintenance.

  • Remove aircraft from service as required.

 

Training:

  • Must have sufficient training in the concepts and programs specified in the DAVINCI JETS manuals to ensure compliance and the ability to supervise such programs.

  • Attending aircraft, power plant and equipment manufacturers' training courses determined to be necessary to fulfill the task requirements.

  • Trained to the extent to be competent in creating, reviewing, updating, and analyzing AD Status for DAVINCI JETS aircraft through regulatory Web based sites.

REPAIR STATION A&P LEAD TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:

  • The Lead Technician will be required to lead or direct more than 5 technicians.

  • Provide technical assistance to mechanics and work on aircraft, as required.

  • Performs regular scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft to include AOG situations.

  • Trains and assists technicians in proper procedures, methods, and practices to be followed in each respective duty.

  • Make certain that the responsible mechanic properly executes all necessary work records.

  • Have a thorough working knowledge and use of MM, IPC, SRM and other manufacturers repair and troubleshooting documents.

  • Use project management to accurately estimate work time and materials for assigned tasks.

  • Ensures proper working condition of mechanical systems before flight.

  • Perform efficient troubleshooting to include avionics and electrical systems.

  • Verify through proper documentation that all parts installed on the aircraft are approved for that aircraft or the component and has been visually inspected and are free of damage or contamination.

  • Ensure work areas are kept clean, and all equipment is returned to assigned areas.

  • Identifies and resolves mechanical problems based on visual inspections or reports from pilot or crew.

  • Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance.

  • Perform aircraft engine run and taxi checks.

  • Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 5 years’ experience with preferred on corporate business jets.

  • 2 years’ experience in Lead / Supervisor capacities.

  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification

  • Requires thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components on all assigned aircraft.

Reporting Structure:

The Strategic Marketing Specialist will report to the CEO.

 

Responsibilities:

This position will be primarily responsible for not only setting the marketing strategy for the company, but also supporting that strategy through the creation of graphic and written content, conducting marketing research to support the needs of the marketing program and strategic plan, and ensuring a consistent message in all customer interactions by performing the following duties:

 

Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop overall marketing strategy to meet the needs of a rapidly growing aviation management and charter company.

  • Develop all marketing materials to support strategic marketing plans, to include both hard copy and web-based content.

  • Produce goals, plans, and budgets to achieve measured results.

  • Clearly communicate all marketing activities in a timely manner so that the entire company is aware of promotions, pricing, and/or specials about which clients might inquire.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities to support general needs of marketing program and strategic plan.
     

Branding & Image:

  • Enhance presence through marketing campaign content such as graphics, blog posts, websites, and/or social media posts. Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing materials. Track and analyze performance of marketing campaigns. Increase the company’s name recognition and visibility through marketing channels.

  • Create, update and ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing materials, to include website content.

  • Organize and coordinate events/conferences/trade shows from coordination of ordering company swag/giveaways, prepare and finalize details for event, and be at events as a representative for the company.
     

Promotions & Sales:

  • Develop all marketing campaigns whether delivered via digital media, mass media, or social media.

  • Plan, design, and implement marketing plans, and design all deliverables to increase charter sales.

  • Create internal marketing with current and prospective client base (i.e., newsletters, blogs, specials, flyers, brochures, photo books, eblasts).
     

Audience & Voice:

  • Ensure the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective clients and retain existing ones.

The technician contributes to aircraft safety by maintaining high standards of workman­ship and inspection standards.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all maintenance and repairs on aircraft for which he/she is assigned and qualified.

  • Approves aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance for which he/she is authorized and qualified.

  • Reports all inoperative or faulty equipment.

  • Responsible for managing, planning, and project maintenance schedules on multiple aircraft.

REPAIR STATION CHIEF INSPECTOR

  • Perform repair station inspections.

  • Ensure that all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAR’s) are complied with and documented.

  • Ensure that aircraft inspected and repaired by the Repair station are safe and airworthy.

  • Ensure that all applicable Airworthiness Directives are complied with and documented.

  • Ensure that all applicable and mandatory service instructions are complied with and documented.

  • Redirect and correct improper maintenance tasks or procedures.

  • Perform Aircraft Maintenance tasks as needed and assist floor technicians with guidance as needed.

  • Responsible for exercising final inspection authority and authorized to sign any and all forms confirming compliance related to inspection, repair, and return to service.

  • Ensure that the inspection records, reports, and forms utilized by the repair station are correct and properly executed.

  • Make periodic checks on all inspection equipment, tools, and the calibration of precision test equipment.

  • Inspect aircraft for proper workmanship and airworthiness before, during and after work is performed by all technicians.

  • Be point of contact for the Repair Station with the FAA when Repair Station Director is unavailable or as requested.

  • Responsible for return to service of aircraft, engines, appliances, and components maintained or inspected by the repair station.

  • Responsible for repair station vendor audits from outside vendors as well as internal audits.

  • Responsible for always maintaining current technical publications whether in digital form or in paper copy for aircraft which the repair station works on.

  • Responsible for Log entries, FAA form 337 disposition, weight and balance amendments and AFM revisions.

  • Point of contact for FAA Inspections.

  • Maintain technicians training files.

  • Submit revisions to the Repair Station RSM / QCM to the FAA for approval.
