The Controller role is responsible for managing the accounting function.  The ideal candidate will be a experienced accounting professional with in-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accounting and financial reporting systems, and possess strong internal processes and controls experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage general accounting, credit and collections. fixed asset accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

  • Direct the month-end closing and reporting processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Perform financial analysis.

  • Manage annual close process including journal entries, and account reconciliations.

  • Work closely with CFO on developing and implementing standard business processes and procedures to improve workflow efficiency and to strengthen internal controls.

  • Provide Client support as specified in Administrative Contracts

  • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report.

  • Supervise and develop accounting team by monitoring developmental goals, set objectives, establish priorities, and conduct annual performance reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable sales and use tax state filings.

  • Assist and prepare schedules for the annual corporate tax filings.

  • Work with the CFO on analysis and improved integration of software.

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.

Knowledge/Skill/Competencies/ Education

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

  • Minimum of 7 years of direct, relevant experience.

  • Possess a working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

  • Experience developing and improving accounting processes and workflows.

  • CPA certification.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Excel, Word, Power Point

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in public accounting.

  • Previous experience with software implementation.

  • Previous experience with FOS, Corridor, and Intacct software.

CJ1 CAPTAIN AND CO PILOT

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN 

The technician contributes to aircraft safety by maintaining high standards of workman­ship and inspection standards.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all maintenance and repairs on aircraft for which he/she is assigned and qualified.

  • Approves aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance for which he/she is authorized and qualified.

  • Reports all inoperative or faulty equipment.

  • Responsible for managing, planning, and project maintenance schedules on multiple aircraft.

Requirements Qualifications

  • Five plus years of Business Aviation Maintenance experience preferred.

FLIGHT COORDINATOR

 

Davinci Jets is seeking an energetic self-starter, who is execution centric, very hard working, and an ethical team player. This individual must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be willing to work in a fast pace, high growth environment. The Flight Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of scheduling 91 and 135 trips. This job requires irregular and long hours, and holidays. You will be in direct contact with high net-worth individuals and their colleagues that will require a high level of discretion.   • Client and crew ground transportation, hotel accommodations and catering

  • Coordination with the maintenance team concerning aircraft availability for trip assignment

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of sales experience and/or private aviation

MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER

 

To safely manage scheduled, un-scheduled, and AOG maintenance requirements of the fleet and communicate with internal and external customers all maintenance related events and outcomes.  Maintain situational awareness of the operations taking place both across our system. Communication and teamwork are key requirements and essential in ensuring a smooth operation across all teams within the company and extending out to our crews. Expected to take initiative to aid in recovery, changes, and transitions of crew and aircraft and maximization of revenue opportunities and aircraft availability.  This position reports to the Director of Maintenance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Safely managing daily maintenance requirements of the fleet in a timely manner with consistant application of Company policy and procedures.

  • Responsible for coordinating w/ Dispatch/Scheduling, Charter Sales, Maintenance Vendors, FBOs and Flight crews on maintenance events.

  • Must convey high level of technical support to flight crews and Maintenance Vendors.

  • Responsible for applying and managing fleet Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL).

  • Responsible for building, scheduling, and releasing fleet Maintenance work orders.

  • Responsible for scheduling fleet cleaning requests.

  • Ensuring accurate and timely information is conveyed with Maintenance Tracking programs.

  • Ensuring accurate and timely information is conveyed to operations and sales for AOG and delayed aircraft.

  • Responsible for oversight and management of fleet during Maintenance events.

  • Responsible for releasing aircraft for Return to Sevice (RTS) in accordance w/ company policy and procedures.

  • Responsible for Airworthiness Releases and Special Flight Permits.

  • Ensures Fleet Maintenance requirements are monitored and completed in a timely manner, never to exceed governing time limitations.

  • Must work harmoniously w/ Director of Maintenace, Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, Pilots, Maintenance Vendors, and teammates, as well outside OEMs and auditors.

  • Responsible for providing shift turnovers and reports of sufficient detail to ensure open issues receive appropriate attention and follow through

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be a highly motivated, energetic team mate who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills desirable.

  • Must have A&P certificate.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

  • Minimum 2 years aircraft maintenance control, maintenance supervisor, crew chief, avionics lead or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years corporate aircraft or regional airline maintenance experience. Specific experience on Citation X, Latitude, CJ1/2/3/4, Challenger 300/350/604/605, Gulfstream G500/G150, King Air, and Pilatus PC-12/PC-24 highly desirable.

  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and task management skills.

  • Must be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office, typing skills are an advantage.

  • Experience with CAMP, CMP, and Corridor, or other maintenance specific applications is highly desirable.

  • Must be a clear and concise verbal and written communicator.

  • Must be able to work weekends and second or third shift as well as occasional overtime.

  • Must be able travel for training or other company requirements.

CHIEF INSPECTOR

Responsibilities

Has authority and is responsible for the inspection duties and supervision of inspection personnel in regards to aircraft RII items, paperwork, aircraft records, forms, training, training records and Maintenance Operations Audit Programs for DAVINCI JETS.

Objective

To supervise, and when necessary, to perform inspection duties after maintenance has been performed on an aircraft and ensure accuracy of associated paperwork.

Duties

  • Manages the daily activities of the assigned inspection personnel by:

    • Reviewing and approving the anticipated work schedule in accordance with the Time Limitations Document.

    • Coordinating and aligning scheduled and un­scheduled maintenance activities being completed into the daily schedule of Quality Analyst data input.

    • Maintaining a general knowledge of all work being performed.

    • Ensuring any necessary FAA Form 8130’s or other paperwork associated with the requirements involving major components, rework and inspection personnel is in compliance. Performs oversight of Parts / Materials Receiving (Sec 3-10) and responsible for reporting Suspected Unapproved Parts. Maintains Vendor Records and Forms.

    • Training the personnel in the company's record keeping procedures.

  • Ensures all maintenance and inspection duties performed on DAVINCI JETS  aircraft are accomplished in accordance with the DAVINCI JETS  General Maintenance Manual, DAVINCI JETS  Audit Program and Manual and Operations Specifications. This includes approved vendors, the use of their respective forms, and records to show adequate comparison with DAVINCI JETS.

  • Coordinates with the Director of Maintenance in all the duties assigned.

  • Assures that all contract employees follow prescribed safety practices in the performance of their duties and reviews new work routines or recently purchased equipment with them as necessary.

  • Reviews all records of work performed, prescribes repair methods, provides installation details, and determines the method of approval.

  • Responsible for the recording and completion of all RII inspection functions. Inspects or provides qualified inspectors for the inspection and return to service of RII Items.

  • Responsible for RII Program (Sec 5-1, 5-2,5-3, and 10-6)

  • Responsible for Continuous Analysis and Surveillance System (Sec 8-1)

  • Prepares and transmits Mechanical Reliability Reports and Mechanical Interrupting Summary Reports as outlined in the DAVINCI JETS  General Maintenance Manual.

  • Responsible for Airworthiness / Required Inspection Authorizations

  • Authorized with Director of Maintenance on issues concerning Short Term Escalation

  • Provides current and adequate inspection forms and assures their proper completion.

  • Maintains permanent records of work accomplished.

  • Responsible for the calibration and inspection of tools and test equipment at prescribed intervals for the Charlotte and remote locations.

  • Ensures the security of the training program is maintained and responsible for revision of the training program as applicable

 

Authority

  • The Chief Inspector may approve aircraft for return to service.

  • The Chief Inspector may assign personnel as required for inspection and Quality Analyst duties.

  • Inititate revisions to inspection programs affecting maintenance.

  • Delegate his authority as necessary, although this does not relieve him of the responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Holds a current FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate.  Have at least 3 years experience as a certificated technician on aircraft.

  • Knows all aspects of the DAVINCI JETS  mainte­nance and operations manuals and Operations Speci­fications, as well as all aspects of maintenance requirements pertaining to 14 CFR PART Part 135 and other applicable regulations necessary for the proper performance of his duties.

 

Training

  • Must have sufficient training in the concepts and programs specified in the DAVINCI JETS  manuals to assure compliance with and the ability to super­vise such programs.

  • Attend aircraft, power plant and equipment manufacturers' training courses determined to be necessary to fulfill the task requirements.

  • Trained in to the extent to be competent in creating, reviewing, updating and analyzing AD Status for DAVINCI JETS  aircraft through regulatory Web based sites.
