COVID-19: DON'T BE AFRAID TO FLY

At Davinci Jets, we are air travel connoisseurs. This past year has brought us countless uncertainties, and the travel industry has gone through numerous changes to accommodate the new challenges we are faced with. We have adapted quickly to these changes and are well-versed in the new policies that have been put in place both on domestic territory and abroad.

As countries strive to protect themselves from potential sources of virus transmission, entering and traveling between countries has become more difficult. Some countries are requiring visitors to acquire a negative COVID test affidavit before traveling to the country. Davinci can provide resources to help you and your party acquire these documents.

Some countries have closed their borders indefinitely, but Davinci knows which islands are still accepting visitors - St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Turks and Caicos, and the Bahamas, to name a few - meaning your tropical getaway doesn't have to wait until post-pandemic. We can help you determine the best destinations to fly into, making your journey as effortless as possible.

Travel restrictions continue to change, and we are adapting with them. The current regulations in place for travelers within the United States require travelers entering New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut to quarantine for 14 days once arriving in the state. They also have the option to have a negative COVID-19 test three days before the trip, then quarantine for three days and have another negative test on the fourth day. This exempts passengers from the 14 day quarantine upon arrival. California remains under a stay at home order, with a curfew between 10pm and 5am for non-essential workers.

Canada's updated regulations require all travelers over the age of five to provide a negative test result 72 hours before landing in Canada. Even with a negative result and authorization to fly, passengers must still complete the 14 day quarantine once they arrive. The border between the United States and Canada remains closed for non-essential travel until January 21st. Many countries in South America are keeping their borders closed for non-essential travel and requiring a quarantine period after arrival.

Davinci can help get you the most up to date travel restrictions prior to your trip, and also provides assistance with any insurance policies required to enter a country. This includes processing of visa documentation and other logistics required to make traveling stress-free. Our International Ops team can help you plan your next trip... Don't let COVID-19 hold you back and don't be afraid to fly!
